ProDelta Projects Inc. (“ProDelta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the websites and applications available at geo-story.com, cumulativeeffects.com, and fielddms.app, including their subdomains (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information in connection with the Services during their current private beta phase. This Policy is a preliminary version prepared in advance of formal legal review and will be updated as the Services develop.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to ProDelta personnel and authorized beta testers accessing any of the Services (“Users”). The Services are not currently available to the public and do not knowingly process personal information belonging to third parties.

  • Account information — name, email address, and login credentials used to access the Services. A single account may be used to access more than one Service.
  • Usage data — features and pages accessed, actions taken within the Services, timestamps, and similar diagnostic information.

  • Content — materials, datasets, and geospatial content belonging to ProDelta (“Company Content”), and any materials created or viewed while using the Services.

We use the information described above to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
  • authenticate Users and secure accounts across the Services;
  • diagnose technical issues and improve functionality;
  • communicate with Users about the Services, including beta updates;
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Legal Basis and Compliance

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and equivalent provincial legislation, including that of British Columbia, where applicable.

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • service providers that support the operation of the Services (for example, cloud hosting or analytics providers), under confidentiality obligations;
  • authorities or third parties where required by law, or to protect ProDelta’s legal rights.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information within the Services. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, particularly given the Services’ beta status.

We retain information for as long as necessary to operate the Services, support beta testing, and comply with legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

The Services may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect the functionality of the Services.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18 and are not intended for use by children.
